Space the back breaking frontier

Got myself my first telescope last Saturday, a smallish one, quite cool.

Got to see the moon at about 525X hehe, the problem was, the moon was at a 90 degree angle this weekend, which wacked by back a bit, definitely not fun...

But it was great, saw Jupiter, struggled to find Uranus and Neptune, can only see Saturn somewhere in December and Mars next year... But ya, rule number one, dont look at the moon when its at a 90degree angle, heheheheh.... ouch






 

Mysql 5

Mysql 5 brings a bit more power, there are four major new features in MySQL 5.0: stored procedures, views, security upgrades, and triggers.

Previously if one wanted these features using open source, the only real alternative was to use PostgreSQL, which just didnt have the performance of mysql.

Would really like to see a benchmark against a closed source database like MS SQL 2005.
